Centrifuge

Experience the immense force of gravity as you simulate reentry into Earth’s atmosphere.

Used for simulating both high-G and physiological weightlessness for cosmonauts, astronauts, and military pilots, the world’s largest Centrifuge at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center was built to generate up to 10 times the force of gravity for manned training and up to an amazing 30 times for unmanned experimentation.

This program will give you an understanding of the forces you will experience during a Soyuz rocket launch until you reach the orbit of the International Space Station. At the end of the simulation, you will know exactly how it feels to launch into space and fly into orbit.

EVA Training

Train for the ultimate space adventure - an EVA (Extra-vehicular activity) or spacewalk.  Experience the same spacewalk simulation training as professional cosmonauts.  Try on a real Orlan suit used for real spacewalks, and professional cosmonauts will teach you how to step outside the spacecraft, for an experience of a lifetime. 

While you are in Moscow, our expert staff will show you Star City, and the official training grounds of the cosmonauts.  You will have the opportunity to eat like a cosmonaut at the Stay City Cafeteria.  After your training, you will be presented with your certificates, photos and video of your experience.
